She married Jessie E. Shaw on August 31, 1962.  He survives.  Surviving also are five children, Ken (Sue) Shaw of St. Louis, Karin Cleaves of Alton, Tim (Renae) Shaw of Nokomis, FL, Jesse (Carole) Shaw of Harrisonville, MO, Lisa Woodard of South Roxana; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

She attended South Roxana Baptist Church for many years and later attended Friendship General Baptist Church in East Alton.

She loved Southern Gospel music, reading, playing games on the computer and her two cats.

Before her health declined, she enjoyed shopping and going places. 

Rosalie was a sweet, gentle and loving Christian woman that will be missed dearly by her husband and family.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated with no services.
