Ronald Leo Hogue, Sr., 73, passed away 10:55 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his residence, with his family at his side.
Born in Alton on December 17, 1944, he was the son of Robert W. Sr., and Mabel (Sandbach) Hogue.
A United States Air Force veteran, he served in Vietnam. He had worked as a security guard for the Olin Corporation 37 years before retiring.
On December 28, 1962 in Greenville, he married Barbara LaTempt. She survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Ronald Leo, Jr., (Theresa) Hogue of South Roxana, Edward Hogue (Joyelle Gerner) of Wood River; two daughters, Renae (Tim) Shaw in Florida, Kelly (Todd) Westbrook of Decatur; nine grandchildren; a great grandchild; and brother, Robert W., Jr., (Cathy) Hogue of Glen Carbon.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
Private interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
