Albert Noal Manring, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

He was born October 30, 1928 in Fairbury, IL, the son of Amos Noal "Ted" Manring and Iva Lee (Webb) Humble.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he was employed as an electrician for I.B.E.W. Local 649 for over 50 years before retiring.  He later worked for  Albert was a 48 year member of the Wood River Masonic Lodge #1062 and a member of Hartford Assembly of God Church.

He leaves his wife of 74 years Juanita (Warner) Manring.

Albert is survived by a brother, Byron (Anne) Humble of Phoenix, AZ; his son, Ricky Manring of San Francisco, CA; daughters, Linda (Duke) Maple of Wood River, Karen (Jim) Birr of Florissant, MO, Vicky Schlemmer of Roxana; grandchildren, April Marburger, Joshua Schlemmer, Summer Birr, Kirstie Feyerabend and Nichole Birr; and seven great grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 4-7 pm, Friday, May 17 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.  A Masonic Ritual by Lodge #1062 will be conducted at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday May 18 at the funeral home with Pastor David Fields officiating.

Burial will follow in Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.  Alton V.F.W. Post 1308 will provide military honors.
